Whilst travelling in Cambodia I worked in the Cambodian F&F (Tesco) Hub. This was a brilliant experience and one which I thoroughly enjoyed. • I shadowed the Production Manager, Sourcing Manager and Head of Technical. • Attended all team meetings which discussed financials, production dates, supplier base, fits and quality, trend forecasting and any information between the UK Buying office and the Hub. • I visited several ladies wear factories which are part of TESCO’s PSL including denim, jersey, sportswear and knitwear factories.
I left this position to go travelling for 6 months around Asia, Australia and New Zealand. I managed my own clients within the specialist division of Production, Technical and Wholesale recruiting for the same roles as listed below. Production • I assisted in the management of the critical path working with overseas factories based in the Far East. • Approved all sampling including lab dips and strike offs • Took detailed sampling notes including carrying out fittings and quality control checks • Completed specifications which were then sent to factories as a guide to follow.
