Fashion Designer
About

I am an innovative and dedicated fashion designer with a dynamic background in the fashion industry. My journey began with winning the Powered by Balenciaga scholarship program immediately after graduating from Pearl Academy in India, where I honed my skills in fashion design, textiles, and computer-aided design. I am privileged to have been part of the prestigious Balenciaga team, where I contributed to both men's and women's couture collections. My experience at Balenciaga provided me with a global perspective and hands-on experience in the intricate process of creating couture collections. I gained expertise in technical drawings, prototype development, fabric sourcing, and fittings, complemented by proficiency in software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. In addition to my work at Balenciaga, I contributed to the retail industry's sustainability efforts through a live project with Impulse Social Enterprises. This initiative empowered women in rural areas by exporting handwoven textiles abroad. My journey also included insights into the fashion show production process I had the opportunity to work backstage in the RTW winter '23 show of Balenciaga at Paris Fashion Week. My passion for fashion, art, and technology drives me to remain on the cutting edge of innovation in the industry. I am a detail-oriented, collaborative team player with strong communication and management skills. I am equally comfortable working independently in fast-paced environments, always seeking fresh perspectives to bring newness to my work. As a fashion designer, I aspire to drive positive change in the industry, where fashion, art, and technology converge. I look forward to exploring new creative endeavors and opportunities to contribute my skills and expertise to innovative projects.
