I've developed a strong foundation in customer service and sales through my role as a Customer Care Assistant at Tesco, enhancing my ability to manage tasks efficiently in fast-paced retail environments. My experience also includes significant responsibilities in stock management and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
As a customer assistant at Tesco, I developed my customer service skills, interacting with numerous customers daily. I worked abiding one of Tesco's key policies of 'Think 25'. Whilst working here, ensuring that all staf and customers were protected from shoplifters was also an important role to stay on top of.
During my voluntary tenure as a Business Support Administrator at Project People, I thrived in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. My role involved supporting a wide range of administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the ofice, and contributing to the success of various projects. With a strong emphasis on atention to detail and organizational skills, I took pride in my ability to maintain order and eficiency.
In the position, I gained and matured skills surrounding food preparation, face-to-face customer dealings, managing a store alone during rush periods, cash handling and administrative paperwork.
I gained experience in a fast moving and quickly expanding industry. Took charge of many promotional activities like handing out flyers to people on the street and designing and reorganizing products in the store for a smoother and faster service. Unloading and stocking deliveries and keeping the store and storage room clean. Developed quantity and quality check skills. Worked to strict time frames and delivery objectives successfully.
My role consisted of managing the tills, replenishing stock, guiding new volunteers that came in to ofer their service and selling products to customers that came in.
