American gallerist Nikki Diana Marquardt opened her Paris space in 1986 with a Dan FLAVIN show, then kept revealing and showing the most significant contemporary artists throughout decades. In the early 2000s, the Gallery became a landmark location for then-emerging fashion designers' presentations and showrooms: Raf Simons, Ann Demeulemeester among many. In 2012 Simon Porte Jacquemus held his first show in the space and Fenty's first pop-up store took place in the same room seven years later both designers celebrating together! During our collaboration over the years, we developed an ever-growing brand portfolio spanning the quintessential Marais skylit industrial space to one of the most in-demand venues in Paris while promoting and supporting emerging artists from war-torn countries through the Gallery's NGO.
