In this work experience, I became a consultant for a little under a week. We were put into groups of 3 to come up with a business plan that would help benefit a business that is more eco friendly and cost efficient. On the first day, we went in person. The last 3 - 4 days of the work experience were online and virtual. It was an amazing experience which I would definitely do again.
I was working the on shop floor from time to time, making sure it was as tidy as possible, but my main responsibilities were on the till. I am currently till trained however, it might differ from the tills at your store. I worked directly with customers, helping to checkout and bag their items. Also, engaging in conversation with them, being friendly and polite to ensure I was giving out the best customer service.
I worked this job very shortly. I left because the staff were very unpleasant. I worked only on shop floor in the changing rooms. Even though I left early, it helped me gain experience from it which eventually led to my second job in primark.
