We are seeking an entrepreneurial, dynamic and results-driven Commercial Business Partner to join forces with our Founding Creative Director. This crucial role is integral to our expansion and success of PdS. This key role is critical to the brand's growth and success as we turbocharge our exposure and presence in the competitive fashion industry. Key Responsibilities:

• Business Strategy and Planning: Develop and communicate brand vision, mission, and objectives. Identify target markets, customer segments, and competition. Set financial goals, budgets, and sales targets.

• Product Development: Range-building collaboration with the Creative Director to align products with brand identity and market demand.

• Sales and Marketing: Create comprehensive marketing strategies for online and physical promotion. Introduce, establish and manage relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors. Execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and sales targets.

• Operations and Supply Chain Management: Supervise inventory, stock levels, and quality control. Manage day-to-day operations, including production schedules and customer service.

• Financial Management: Monitor and manage the business's financial health, including revenue, expenses, and cash flow. Handle financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Legal and Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including intellectual property rights, labour laws, and taxation.

• Manage contracts and agreements with suppliers, partners, and retailers.

• Team Management: Build and co-manage a small team of employees and freelancers.

• Growth and Expansion: Identify growth opportunities, including new markets and strategic partnerships. Evaluate the feasibility of collaborations and partnerships.

• Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks related to market changes, economic fluctuations, and supply chain disruptions.

• Brand Building: Maintain and enhance the brand's image, reputation, and consistency across all marketing and customer touchpoints.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

• Proven experience in a commercial or business development role within the fashion industry.

• Strong understanding of fashion market trends and consumer behaviour.

• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• The candidate should be entrepreneurial and comfortable with the uncertainty and challenges that come with running a start-up.

• Financial acumen and proficiency in data analysis.

• Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, start-up environment and ‘wear multiple hats.’

• Strong organisational and project management skills.
