We're looking for an Interim Retail Manager for a 3 to 4 months contract.

As a Retail Manager, your main responsibility will be to develop business strategies that transform our stores into hubs for client engagement and connection. By embodying the values of our brand, you will strive to meet our budget and financial targets and uphold the brand as its ambassador. 

Key Responsibilities :

Business Performance

  • Develop sales forecasts and budgets for retail stores.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance to optimise commercial action plans.
  • Regularly evaluate the performance, opportunities, and challenges of individual stores.
  • Manage operational expenses and maintain responsibility for the P&L.
  • Identify potential growth opportunities such as new store openings, expansions, or refurbishments.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with store directors to ensure clarity on each store's annual plan.

Management

  • Advocate for retail excellence and cultivate client engagement, recruitment, and retention within the store.
  • Conduct appraisals with direct reports and clearly convey objectives to the retail team.
  • Motivate the team to exceed retail, productivity, and CRM targets.
  • Ensure retail execution aligns with brand requirements (i.e., customer service, visual display, staff attitude).
  • Inspire Store Managers to exceed sales targets and promote growth.
  • Facilitate regular communication of company contents through briefings, product, and CRM trainings.
  • Collaborate with HR on recruitment, team development, training, and general HR issues.

Buying

  • Participate in the open-to-buy process with the HQ buying team to ensure the right product assortment.
  • Review performance indicators such as sales and discount levels.
  • Manage plans for stock levels.

Operations

  • Supervise daily store operations, propose process improvements, and optimise back office functions.
  • Liaise with local store directors and external suppliers on issues related to deliveries, stock, IT, maintenance, and security.
  • Maintain the quality of internal control and inventory management.
  • Plan and execute store openings, expansions, and relocations.
