We are seeking a talented Junior Graphic Designer Print to join our team a French Couture House. As a key member of our creative department, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to our iconic brand's success.

This is a temporary, full time contract (1 to 2 months). Start date ASAP.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and producing print materials that align with our brand aesthetic.


You will collaborate with various departments including Creative and Development teams.

Responsibilities

  • You will create visually compelling graphic designs for print materials for Couture and RTW collections.
  • You shall collaborate with the marketing team to understand their design requirements and deliver creative solutions that align with the brand's visual identity.
  • We expect you to research current market trends in graphic design and stay updated with industry best practices to ensure our print materials are innovative and impactful.
  • You will be responsible for preparing artwork files for production, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • You shall work closely with printers and vendors to obtain accurate quotes, coordinate print production, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  • We rely on you to maintain a organized digital asset library, categorizing and archiving all graphic design files for easy retrieval.
  • You will assist in managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • We value your ability to communicate and present design concepts effectively to internal stakeholders, receiving feedback and making necessary revisions.

Requirements

  • You must have a portfolio showcasing your print design work, demonstrating your skills in typography, layout, and visual composition.
  • We expect you to have expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well as experience with other graphic design software.
  • You should possess strong understanding of color theory, printing techniques, and file preparation for print production.
  • Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams is crucial, collaborating with copywriters, art directors, and printers to ensure the successful execution of design projects.
  • We require you to stay updated on current design trends and industry best practices to bring fresh ideas and innovative concepts to our brand.
  • You must be highly organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving is essential, as you will need to troubleshoot design issues and find creative solutions that align with brand guidelines.
