We are seeking UX and UI Designers for a range of clients in the fashion-tech, fashion and beauty spaces. Our clients are looking to ensure a world-class experience for both their B2B and B2C customers across their websites, e-commerce platforms and applications. We currently have a range of new UX and UI opportunities to shape the future of our clients’ product experience. Depending on the role and your availability, there is scope to engage in ad-hoc consultancy for a few hours per month, right up to full-time freelance projects.

Your Role:

- Create user-centred designs by understanding business requirements, the voice of the customer, user journeys, customer feedback, and usability findings

- Quickly and iteratively create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, low and high fidelity mockups

- Communicate with product and engineering teams, as well as business stakeholders and executive leadership

- Ensure the voice of the customer is present by incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design

- Performing metrics analysis post-launch to inform design/UX optimization efforts

- Understand and use data to better inform design decisions.


Requirements as Senior UX/UI Design Consultant:

- Significant experience in a UX/UI, product design, or similar role either as a permanent member of a product team or as a UX/UI design consultant.

- Experience with B2C and B2B websites and applications

- A portfolio that demonstrates experience of end-to-end design

- Confident working with both qualitative and quantitative data

- Core understanding of the full UI and UX process

- An understanding of usability, accessibility, and associated best practices

- Experience developing style guides/design systems, beneficial

- Advanced skills working with Adobe, Sketch, InVision and Figma or similar

- Previous experience in e-commerce, fashion-tech, or fashion & luxury companies highly beneficial

- Previous experience working in a fast-paced digital environment.

- A strong focus on user-centric design, and an understanding of conversion rate optimisation and A/B testing.


UX/UI designer's focus:

- Putting the user first: you’re there to make a change.

- Humanizing technology: create user-friendly interfaces that enable users to understand how to use complex technical products.

- Switching between tasks: Being flexible and able to pivot from one task to the next is an important soft skill for a UI/UX designer.

- Communicating with other teams.
