Responsibilities

• As the Chief Technology Officer at Oskelly, you will oversee all aspects of technical operations for our website and app.
• You shall lead the development and implementation of new technologies to enhance the customer experience on our platform.
• We expect you to keep up-to-date with emerging trends in technology and make recommendations based on how they may impact our business.
• You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a team of skilled developers and engineers.
• You must ensure that our systems are secure and meet industry standards for data protection.
• You shall collaborate with other departments such as marketing and sales to identify areas where technology can support their objectives.
• We expect you to manage budgets for technology-related projects and purchases, ensuring we get value for money while maintaining quality.
• As a senior member of our executive team, you will contribute to strategic planning initiatives and provide regular reports to the CEO.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role within the tech industry
• Experience in developing and implementing technology strategies that align with business goals
• In-depth knowledge of web development technologies, cloud computing, and software architecture principles
• Ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards
• Demonstrated track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, design, and sales
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into plain language for non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a creative approach to finding innovative solutions to challenges
• A commitment to staying up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in the tech industry
• Technical ability to code in Java
