ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Retail Operations specialist supports the Store Operations Manager and the wider business in all activities related to inventory management and accuracy, retail operations and logistics.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the accurate processing of inventory transactions across all store locations and between departments
  • Together with the Store Operations Manager, run efficient and accurate monthly stocktakes
  • Investigate any discrepancies that arise from stocktake, daily counts or other known inventory variances and ensure they are resolved
  • Assist with daily store set up, pack down and cabinet counts
  • Pick stock for replenishment and stock transfers as required by the sales team and Merchandising
  • Pick stock for item loans, trunk shows or other events, accurately recording these in our ERP and receiving these back in. Arrange shipments as required
  • Pick, pack and ship client orders both domestically and internationally
  • Generate shipment documentation and commercial invoices for international shipments
  • Liaise with customs brokers/couriers to facilitate customs clearance/shipment progress as required
  • Back up for stock runner during absences or busy periods as required
  • Support sales team with receipt and logging of client own pieces ensuring company processes are followed.
  • Complete packaging stock checks and reporting as required


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Education & Experience:  

  • At least 3 years’ experience in an inventory control back-office role within retail
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems
  • Experience shipping luxury goods
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Prior experience in luxury goods preferred
