Introduction
As a Senior Stock Associate at Tory Burch, you will be responsible for supporting both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. This dynamic role may encompass duties such as acting as a greeter, cashier, runner, handling phone enquiries, as well as understanding and executing operational policies and procedures. You will also play an integral role in packing/unpacking shipments and organizing the stock room to facilitate product flow and smooth running of the store. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, efficient, and flexible, with a knack for multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities and exemplify leadership in-store.
Responsibilities
- Uphold all sales and operational policies and procedures with an aim for excellence.
- Accurately execute all POS transactions and capture customer information.
- Develop thorough understanding and competency in store's radio communication and all other technology tools.
- Ensure accurate processing and documentation of all incoming and outgoing shipments and receipts.
- Assist with operational and back-of-house activities, maintaining high standards of organization in storage areas.
- Prepare merchandise for the sales floor and facilitate communication about new receipts and inbound merchandise with the team.
- Attend to store maintenance needs and order supplies when necessary.
- Meet all deadlines such as IMRDs, damages, transfers, charge sends, etc.
- Adhere to all loss prevention policies and procedures to protect company assets.
- Multi-task and prioritize work effectively, with a keen attention to detail.
- Lead by example and model behaviour reflecting the company's core values.
- Manage conflicts appropriately, taking ownership for your part in the team dynamic.
- Show a high degree of maturity and integrity.

Customer Experience
- Provide transformational customer experiences by greeting and connecting with customers, offering beverages, providing iPads, and answering questions.
- Assist sales associates with seamless communication and follow-through on customer requests.
- Ensure a high level of customer service through extensive product knowledge and ownership.
- Process all POS transactions accurately, including ringing sales, wrapping merchandise, processing returns, applying discounts and promotions.
- Handle product runs to the floor, ship products to customers, and conduct transfers and markdowns as per Store Communications directives.
- Train on and understand the radio communication and all technology tools used in the store, using proper etiquette.
- Partner with the leadership team to address customer service issues, particularly related to product damages, repairs, exchanges, and concierge-like needs.
- Assist in fitting room activities.
- Answer the telephone using proper etiquette.
Brand Representation
- Communicate and understand the Tory Burch brand philosophy and lifestyle, and represent this to customers and each other.
- Emulate the brand aesthetic with a strong sense of fashion and an enthusiastic attitude.
- Maintain all brand and operating standards to ensure brand consistency.
- Assist in maintaining store presentation standards, including replenishment, folding and acting swiftly during down-times and peak business periods.
- Utilize in-store technology to transform every customer's experience.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in an operations or stock position
- Prior experience in a luxury or clientele environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy boxes (30lbs)
- Strong technology skills including Microsoft Office and POS Systems
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
