PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Strategise, develop and drive sales. Maintain key clients/prospects relationships. Monitor and meet monthly and annual sales targets. Support the sales team in day-to-day operational duties and contribute in making the client experience second to none.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales/clients
- Responsible for generating sales.
- Pursue prospecting with clients, non-clients and lapsed clients.
- Manage existing priority clients and network to develop prospective clients.
- Formulate a strategic sales approach for maximizing existing and new clients purchase potential.
- Respond to in-person, telephone and email enquiries and new sales opportunities within 24 hours and maximise opportunities.
- Take responsibility for repairs orders
- Liaise with design and production on bespoke client commissions.
- Work with sales team and other departments to create a positive work environment.
- Support Company vision and contribute ideas to build upon this vision.
Sales reporting
- Monitor and keep track of pipeline business/ probable/possible sales.
- Process sales in a timely and efficient manner/administrative follow-through.
- House experience
- Visual Merchandise Presentation: ensure all displays are neat/clean and the jewellery is well
- presented throughout the day.
- Set-up and breakdown daily.
- Give input / feedback on processed to make them more efficient.
- Provide support with operational day to day duties to improve efficiency
Business Development
- Nurturing relations with external potential clients.
- Liaison with the JM brand ambassadors.
- Liaise with PR and Marketing team on external outreach strategy.
- Assist in set-up and execution of events; selling at these events and follow-up with clients.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education & Experience:
- University degree a must
- Luxury fine jewellery sales background a plus
