Never give up & keep chasing your dreams!
As part of a team i followed my managers' demands but i've been able to bring my ideas from my previous Michael Kors' experience and I reorganised the shoes aisles.
At Guess the Visual Merchandiser and I were responsible of preparing the shop floor before the store opening by checking and replenish the missing products as well as alarm tags and/or labels, prices etc. In the back of house i used to receive deliveries, make sure the units were matching the invoices, alarm tagging all the merchandise, re-price from EUR to GBP and uploading the cartons on the system.
In this experience, on a daily basis, i was responsible of receiving deliveries, checking the company's tasks through our internal website, book and ship orders received by emails as well as the ones on the phone, print and investigate the negative on hand report, dealing with damages products and all what was about the loss and prevention. I also led the inventory supported by my Store Manager and preparing it i developed a new company standard to keep the jewellery cabinet.
As part of a team of 7 Stock Assistant our main tasks were to keep the stockroom neat and tidy, receiving deliveries, investigate damages and discrepancies, replenish the floor when closing, physically store transferring shoes and move extra merchandise to the off-site stockroom in the building's basement.
Receiving drinks deliveries, keeping the stockroom neat and tidy, supporting the bar teams and restocking the bars/fridges.
In this role i have been both Graphic Designer and Stock Assistant, the store used to be the supplier of Spezia Calcio for the football seasons 2006/07 , 2007/08. We cared about the club's back of house, players and staff garments as well as printing all the merchandise for the store and the team members.
Nicola is a very polite and hard working employee and did a great job until the very end.
Nicola is great person to work with, he was always in time and also the last person to leave. Smart and quickly learning guy, who worked in a busy and crazy store as Geox in Oxford street was, a tireless worker who helped me a lot when I was the supervisor. He was one of the few person who I used to trust when I wasn’t in the store.
