Menswear Outlets (Tailoring, Casual Wear and Accessories) My key responsibilities in this role were store visits ensuring all stores are presented exceptionally, raising PO’s, maintaining style maintenance, updating design specs and range plans, pulling product for online photo-shoots – building outfits and ensuring all products have been photographed, pulling product for trade meetings – best sellers, logging in seals when delivered to department, chasing suppliers for Black and Gold Seals – tracking meetings, taking notes and comments in fit meetings, competitor research, filing and keeping organisation of all samples and swatches and also sending and tracking parcels. The skills I improved upon in this role include strong attention to detail, a friendly and professional telephone and email manner, driving sales and commercial awareness for trade meetings, raising PO's and general admin skills, tracking meetings and chasing suppliers, outfit building and styling menswear whilst also learning the key skills of tailoring, casual wear and accessories and menswear fittings and communicating efficiently with suppliers and fellow employee’s.
Bags, SLG and Accessories My key responsibilities in this role were keeping the range plans up to date, developing CAD designs, retouching photo's for look books, keeping the sample tracker on Excel sheets up to date, liaising with suppliers on deadlines, approving Bulk Swatches and Gold Seals, producing Spec sheets for each product to send out to suppliers, keeping the sample library organised and knowing the product extensively, introducing new archive techniques and ordering and organising samples for the Press Department for Press days and photo shoots. Skills I gained and improved in this role was a great knowledge of leather, hardware and bag production as well as sourcing from Italy, China and Portugal. I also improved organisation, planning very far in advance of many peoples schedules in the department, liaising with suppliers and all departments, attention to detail in all aspects, improving my Excel and admin skills, sourcing from new suppliers and gaining a strong understanding of the critical path.
Responsibilities: Part time sales assistant at a new outlet store, assisted with opening the store, meeting daily targets, stocktaking, deliveries, managing stock room and VM. Skills: Working in a busy and new store, gave opportunities to become more independent, use initiative and teamwork, sales tactics and knowledge of company.
