Graduate in Sociology with Economics
About

I am a recent graduate currently looking for an opportunity to progress within my career. As a highly talented and driven individual, I have facilitated my community by volunteering my time towards an arts and craft society for children on a weekly basis. I am involved in local charitable organisations, such as St.Egidio, which helped raise £200 for their respectable cause. My various experience has led me to work alongside and, in some cases, lead colleagues of all ages, improving my ability to communicate and delegate tasks as required. This passion of creating a positive and lucrative change has carried me through my joint honour of sociology and economics at University of Northampton and furthered my engagement with large groups of people. I have broadened my Microsoft office, online delegation platforms and administrative software skills whilst at university. I am looking to become a part of a diverse and innovative company that can provide fresh new opportunities and challenges that will enhance my experience and skill set.

Hamleys

I served as a temporary employee during the busy Christmas season in December. My primary responsibilities included providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the store's overall presentation by maintaining cleanliness and organisation, restocking shelves, and efficiently handling transactions on the tills. Despite the heightened activity during the festive period, I demonstrated effective time management and multitasking skills, consistently staying aware and proactive. This experience allowed me to efficiently manage my responsibilities, deliver excellent customer service, and contribute to the overall success of the team during a high-demand period.

SHAHI CATERING

I was part of a diligent and collaborative team working in a fast-paced and labour-intensive work environment where I thrived under pressure to create and provide the best service in the most efficient manner. I was also working with the team onsite where we encountered multiple challenges including creating a way to provide a more efficient service as well as assisting customers and professionally handling their dilemmas with composure.

I worked alongside a local charity based in London, that held weekly arts and craft workshops children from low income families. I have become adept at handling highly sensitive situations with a cool head and providing unwavering patience while helping the children with crafts. As well as tackling practical challenges the role provides, I was able to deliver administrative support and include my input in budgeting decisions.
