hired as their freelance fashion designer in charge of the emerging brand's Prêt-á-porter line. worked closely with the brand owner in the development of the mens and women designs, from sketching, to preparing the tech packs, overviewing the fittings and first prototypes, selecting the fabrics to be used, searching and getting in contact with new suppliers and preparing the final tech packs for production to take over.
as senior designer at the fashion brand Gaucho Buenos Aires, I was in charge of design and supervision of the ready to wear line plus knits and leather designs. From searching and creating the concepts to overviewing the design developments with our in-house pattern & sample maker or with our international suppliers until they were ready for the production team to take over.
My first job was at atelier Carlos Vigil. A Peruvian Haute Couture brand with Carlos Vigil as the brand's owner and main designer. worked closely with him in the development of that years collection concept, definition of the colour palette, embroidery, prints on fabrics, and fittings.
