As a retail Sales Assistant, i enjoyed helping customers, proving excellent customer service and making their shopping experience enjoyable. Im a very happy, social and friendly person and love giving customers a helping hand as well as building connections with them and recommending products i think will best suit them.
Victorias Secret Sales Assistant Worked as a sales assistant in Victorias Secret. The responsibilities of my role included being on tills, working in the stock rooms to help with ordering stock and replenishing the shop floor as well as working on recovery in store to make sure standards were high at all times throughout the day. Striving to help achieve daily targets of store with new goals set everyday. Each of us were given personal targets at the start of the day and focused on achieving and excelling those targets by the end of our shifts. Constant change in products helped improve my product knowledge greatly as we were given ‘floor walks’ and ‘try ons’ which meant that we were able to walk the floor to remember where products were and try the products on to be able to give our own personal testimonies to customers about the products.
As a waitress and barista, my role included making coffee, taking orders, serving/helping customers, counting/organising stock and work on the tills. Maintained good relationships and constant communication between other stores to help with staffing issues and stock availability. Offered to work on short notice at other bakeries that were short staffed. My role also allowed me to bond with ‘regular’ customers, which helped me build and maintain positive relationships. My customer service skills also increased greatly from my constant exposure to customers. Help achieve bakery daily, weekly and monthly targets. Well informed about product knowledge. Also improved my memory as we have a huge amount of goods to remember information about.
