I excel in customer interaction, which I've developed during my time working at the ClockTower Cafe, as i would attentively listen and communicate to customers. I always ensure courteous service and going the extra mile to attend to all of my clients needs. I adapt quickly to new environments and take pride in positively presenting myself to customers and colleagues. I have always had a passion for fashion, inspired by my mother, who worked as a beauty therapist. This passion, combined with my knowledge, allows me to effectively advise customers and enhance their style.
During my internship at the DEC, I was responsible for cashing in cheques, logging data, and writing articles for publication on their website. This role provided me with a diverse set of tasks that honed my financial management, data entry, and writing skills, contributing to the overall efficiency and content quality of the organisation. I have also developed the discipline of getting tasks done on time to showcase to the team and present in meetings.
Starting at my first job in a new café in Hanwell, I was responsible for taking orders and serving customers, as well as helping with miscellaneous duties, such as washing and organising crockery, writing on the outdoor chalkboard and acquiring products when urgently needed. Working there taught me a lot about how to present myself to customers, being courteous and willing to help and go beyond when needed.
