I highly recommend Hilal Sarsour, an incredibly talented fashion designer who recently had the pleasure of crafting the stage costumes for our metal duo, Void Before the Altar. Hilal possesses an exceptional ability to translate the raw energy and vision of a musical artist into striking, original costume designs. Our collaboration required a deep understanding of the metal genre's aesthetic, translating the intensity of our music into impactful visual expressions. Not only did Hilal meet this challenge, but she exceeded all expectations. The costumes mrs. Sarsour designs were intricate, dynamic, and perfectly aligned with our band's unique sound and persona. She started with pristine white fabric and skillfully dyed it to create evocative shades of gray and black – a visual representation of the contrasting elements within our music. Each costume was meticulously tailored to the individual band member, reflecting their unique personalities and stage presence. In addition to this Hilal managed to create a flexible costume in which we could easily move while performing on stage. Beyond her remarkable design skills, Hilal was an absolute pleasure to collaborate with. She possesses excellent communication and listening skills, ensuring that she fully understood our vision and incorporated our ideas seamlessly into her work.
