About

Currently, I am progressing with my A-Level courses, with my chosen subjects being Chemistry, Biology, Psychology and Economics. I am looking for work experience in a new and daring environment that will allow me to utilize my learned skills, from my past experiences (within admin, retail, hospitality and office management) alongside developing new skills. I think of myself as a reliable candidate ready to take on challenges using problem-solving and task prioritization skills to help my team flourish. I possess admirable communication and leadership abilities which I attained through my roles as charity organization event director as well as event coordinator for CHEACS.

Within this 7-day hybrid work experience program at HSBC, I was presented with the opportunity to improve and strengthen my self-initiative and collaboration with my colleagues. I worked within the Operational and Resilience Risk sector for Europe and tackled the possible situations associated with fraudulent behaviour in finance. During my in person work experience, I advanced my team building skills whilst co-operating with colleagues from different departments providing impactful information on customer in-flows and out-flows , as well as interviewing high-level associates to gain an insight of the corporate world.

Throughout this 7-day placement I was given the opportunity to shadow two health care advisors throughout their day-to-day lives within the NHS. In addition, I gained knowledge on how to approach and empathize with patients who were going through a difficult time due to their personal inconveniences and well-being. I also attained elevated communication and organizational skills whilst operating and managing internal booking systems to issue appointments for patients, both in person and via telephone. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my placement as it was a vital role which broadened my skill set in terms of providing hospitality to patients.
