Support the Womenswear and Menswear Design Teams in all their activities related to the design and development of seasonal Mainline and Runway collections, reporting to Design Director Winni Lok. -collection research through online, vintage, books, and museums following design briefs -seasonal sketch production, amendments, and colourups using hand and digital tools -Adobe Photoshop renderings, Illustrator artworks (jacquards, intarsias, ribs patterns...), embroidery placements -responsible for creating knitted and jersey swatches/ mock-ups/ trials, draping on the stand and making toiles -participating and taking notes during in-house fittings -photographing and organising prototypes and samples, maintaining and updating archives -assisting the Runway Team during show preparation and backstage organisation for AW22 and SS23 catwalk shows -assisting the Pre-collection Team during the preparation, styling and shooting of seasonal Lookbooks
Simultaneously supporting diferent Design Teams (Outerwear, Ready-To-Wear, Knitwear, Soft Accessories and Kidswear) for the design of SS19 and FW19 collections. -helping Designers with the production of accurate sketches, technical drawings and launch packs -preparing and updating presentation boards -managing communications between the Design and Product Development departments -ensuring the department is organised and tidy

International contest asking students to design a knitted textiles collection following a given brief and exploring the potential of the company’s most iconic yarns. Winners are awarded a monetary prize and have the opportunity to produce their collection inside Loro Piana’s headquarters and exhibit it at Pitti Filati.
