Hardworking Reliable Creative Extrovert
About

I am currently studying Level 3 Fashion design at Fashion Retail Academy, London. This is allowing me to develop my skills in; drawing, research, ICT, communication, textile design, sewing and cutting, pattern work, collages, sketch booking and public speaking and presentation. During the summer of 2023 I worked in a village café in Coylton, South-Ayrshire. This allowed me to develop a wide range of skills, as listed below and I am keen to further develop these skills in a work place closer to home. I am hard working, consciences, responsible and reliable. I have demonstrated that I have excellent time keeping skills and an eagerness to learn new skills whilst working.

Me's Café and take away, 3

During my time at Me's café and take away, I had the responsibility of food server and waiter. I worked 6 day a week for 6 hours per day. During this role, I was commended on my excellent customer service, always paying attention to customer's orders and providing a friendly, professional manner. I used the point of sale system and completed cash and card transactions. I used a hot drinks machine to create coffee, tea and specialty drinks for customers. Using daily and weekly cleaning schedules, I completed several tasks, including; dishwashing, cleaned surfaces, topped up disposables, stock control, front of house cleaning and customer toilets. Staff often commented on my outgoing personality and my ability to upsell products to customers.
