My background in warehouse assistance, sales service, and customer interaction positions me perfectly for dynamic retail roles, where adaptability and meticulous attention to detail are paramount.
• I was responsible for generating contributions from the public to fundraise workshops for young children with disabilities and mental health illness across the country. • Working at this job I needed to have a strong willingness to learn about the cause.I gained confidence in communicating effectively and a strong understanding of human behavior to use to my advantage to generate as many contributions as possible whilst building relationships for future contributions. From this job I needed to be extremely resilient and not to be phased by rejection.
• I am responsible for chopping fruits that vary from limes, lemons, oranges and grapefruit etc and then juicing them for cocktail bars. • From this job I acquired phenomenal organization, communication, teamwork, time management and attention to detail skills since we have to chop, juice and bottle the products as fast as possible to ensure they are ready for delivery. • I also work to very strict food and drink hygiene standards and procedures and I'm trained in the use of kitchen machinery.
• Responsible for packing cabinets into crates and then unpacking them into a new cabinet at a new location. • This required excellent teamwork because we had to find the correct location in a strict time limit and take all the crates which meant a lot of heavy lifting. • Instructed to help companies reduce their onsite space which included archiving documents.This took determination and attention to detail to find all files and get them in the right box, so they were ready to be shipped off.
• Responsible for communicating with drivers, to ensure drivers successfully complete all of their deliveries and be available to contact to solve problems. • Communicate with the warehouse making sure parcels are available for drivers to pick up on time ensuring customers satisfaction. • This job required outstanding communication skills, problems solving,patience,empathy,flexibility,organization and determination.
• I helped Regents Place come up with marketing strategies to captivate the attention of young people in the local area of Camden to come and get involved with Regents Place. • My supervisor at regents place was very impressed with how hard I worked and how I was up for all the challenges that had been put to me. • This experience developed my organizational, creative and entrepreneurial skills.
