In my role as a Team Leader, my main responsibility was to oversee a group of children, where my top priority is their safety and well-being. I was in charge of planning and managing various engaging activities, encouraging the kids to participate, and sparking their imaginations. Flexibility is key because in this job role I'll need to adapt to each child's unique needs and work alongside a team to ensure the camp's success, especially as many of the children that attend the camp are children with special needs. Problem-solving, time management, and effective communication is also crucial in creating a positive and well-organized environment. I also focused on building strong relationships with both the children and my team members, demonstrating my commitment to this role in order to create an enjoyable and pleasant environment for all.
