Currently I am a sixth-form student with aspirations to go into journalism in the future with this i'm very enthusiastic and love talking to new people every day and I love using my creativity during my work life. I managed to get 6 months experience at a fast past Michelin star restaurant as a commis/waitress which was a very pleasant experience for me, I also do babysit on the side for families which has taught me a lot of patience and made me develop my problem-solving skills.
My most recent place of employment is the Fat hippo soho where i'm responsible for taking orders, making drinks and also food running when needing to do so, i also handle payments made.
Babysitting and tuition was offered to close family friends, neighbours and certain families where I would collect children from school take them for walks help with homework this allowed me to be creative with kids, on rare occasions I would be watching children overnight for parents who worked late or needed the night off.
my main responsibilities at pied à terre was to help out with the kitchen some occasions help the chefs with food prep but also communicating with the chefs and floor if there was any issues to be sorted out to make sure customers are enjoying their experience with us
handled serving guests their drinks and maintaining natural flowing conversation ensuring customers were looked after. i also did waitressing and reception work where I was handling the reservations booking and seatings
